We are working tirelessly to organize the in-person event in March, but the recent Houston area strict stay-at-home orders, hotel restrictions, increasing number of travels checkpoints and the uncertainty around the world forced us to turn our F&R Energy into a fully virtual conference.

We have been in constant discussions with our venue partners, board members and the local supporting staff to stay abreast of the challenges and complexities in the face of disruption due to COVID-19. CDC guidelines says large in-person gatherings are still a high COVID-19 risk, where it is difficult for individuals to remain spaced at least 6 feet apart and attendees travel from outside the local area.

Many universities still have travel restrictions for its staff, this uncertainty preventing many attendees to join us for in-person meeting in Houston, leading to turn our F&R Energy into a fully virtual conference.
